Men's football
Milan Skriniar, the 30-year-old Slovakia international central defender, has completed a permanent move to Fenerbahçe SK, in Türkiye.

Milan Škriniar began his career in his home town of Žiar nad Hronom, where he came through the youth ranks of the local club. In 2011 he transferred to MŠK Žilina and made his first-team debut in 2012, winning the league and Cup double in his first season. Looking for more playing time, he was loaned to Zlaté Moravce the following year.

In January 2016, the Slovakian signed for Sampdoria in Italy, where he quickly became a key player for the side. In his first full season, he played all 38 league matches and became the youngest defender ever in Serie A to play at least 35 games in a single campaign.

Named Defender of the Season in 2017, Škriniar immediately signed for Inter Milan, where he imposed himself as a pillar of the side. In five years with the Nerazzurri, he made 246 appearances, scoring 11 goals, providing five assists and winning the Serie A (2021), two Coppa d’Italia (2022, 2023) and two Italian Super Cups (2022,2023).

The defender then joined Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2023. He made a total of 37 appearances for LesRouge & Bleu, scoring once, against AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League. He won the Ligue 1 – Coupe de France – Trophée des Champions treble in the 2023-24 campaign.

Loaned to Fenerbahçe SK in the second half of the 2024-25 season, Milan Škriniar made 23 appearances in all competitions with the Turkish outfit, scoring three goals and providing two assists.

Called up to the Slovakia national team for the first time in May 2016, just a few weeks before the European championships, Milan Škriniar now counts 81 international caps, has scored three goals for his country and was named captain in 2022.

Paris Saint-Germain wishes Milan every success for the future.
