GABRIEL MOSCARDO LOANED TO SPORTING CLUBE DE BRAGA
Gabriel Moscardo was 12 years old when he joined SC Corinthians in Brazil in 2017. After rising through the ranks of the Paulista academy, he finally joined the senior squad in the summer of 2023.
The native of Taubaté made his debut for SC Corinthians' first team at the age of 17, coming on as a substitute in a 3-0 victory over Liverpool Fútbol Club (Uruguay) in the Copa Libertadores on 28 June 2023. Recognised for his ball-winning abilities and his impact in one-on-one situations, the Brazilian midfielder quickly established himself in the first team, becoming an undisputed starter (25 matches, one goal and one assist).
His performances also earned him a call-up to the Brazilian U23 national team, with whom he played a friendly match against Morocco U23 on 7 September 2023, just a few weeks before his 18th birthday.
On 24 January 2024, Gabriel Moscardo signed a contract with Paris Saint-Germain through to 2028. Loaned to SC Corinthians to finish the season, the Brazilian midfielder joined up with Les Rouge et Bleuduring the following summer, making his debut in a pre-season friendly against Sturm Graz. On loan at Stade de Reims last season, Gabriel Moscardo played ten matches for the Champagne club, scoring one goal, in the Coupe de France. During the 2024-2025 season, he also participated in the U20 Copa America with Brazil, playing nine matches and bagging a goal and an assist to help the Auriverde win the tournament.
Having returned to Paris Saint-Germain this summer, he was included in the squad for the Club World Cup in the United States.
Paris Saint-Germain wishes Gabriel every success for his season with Sporting Clube de Braga.
