Developed through Paris Saint-Germain’s youth ranks
Born on 22 January 2002 in Stains, Seine-Saint-Denis, Wallem Peleka discovered handball at the age of 12 before joining the Paris Saint-Germain Handball association's under-18 team in 2018. Two years later, he joined the capital club's youth academy, where he continued his development at the highest level.
Wallem Peleka made his first appearance with the professional team in February 2022, during a Liqui Moly Starligue match. Since then, he has played 78 league matches, scoring 74 goals for les Rouge & Bleu. On the European stage, the left-back has also played 45 matches in the EHF Champions League, scoring 36 goals and confirming his rise to the highest continental level.
Regularly called up to the French youth teams, with whom he played at U19 and U21 level, Wallem Peleka took another step forward in his international career in May 2025 when he received his first call-up to the French senior team for the Euro Cup. He then confirmed his progress by being one of 18 players selected to compete in the European Championship in January 2026, demonstrating the confidence placed in him by the French coaching staff thanks to his development at the highest level.
"A graduate of the Paris Saint-Germain Handball youth academy, Wallem is the epitome the Club's vision for the development of young talent. His career path demonstrates his ability to progress in a demanding and high-performance environment. This extension reflects our confidence in his potential and our belief that he still has significant room for improvement. We are very happy to see him continue his adventure with Paris Saint-Germain Handball."
"I am very happy and proud to extend my adventure with Paris Saint-Germain Handball. This is a club that has trained me, trusted me and allowed me to grow, both athletically and personally. I will continue to work hard and with humility to improve and give my all to the team in the seasons to come."

About Paris Saint-Germain Handball
Founded in 1970, Paris Saint-Germain is France's most successful club and sports franchise and one of the best clubs on the European scene. Owned by Qatar Sports Investment (QSI) since 2011, the Club has achieved spectacular results both on and off the field of play. Led by its first team, Paris Saint-Germain is a multi-sport and forward-thinking club with teams in Esports, judo, women's football and handball.
Since its acquisition by QSI in 2012, the handball section has risen to become one of the greatest teams in European handball, winning 23 national titles and qualifying for the Final4 of the EHF Champions League six times in eight campaigns. Over the seasons, the team has included some of the world's best players, such as Mikkel Hansen, Luc Abalo, Thierry Omeyer, Daniel Narcisse and the Karabatic brothers, and has strengthened its ranks by developing young talent from its training centre. This strategy has enabled the club to set new records, such as a perfect season in the 2021-2022 championship, with thirty wins in as many matches.
Beyond the sporting aspect, Paris Saint-Germain as a whole is committed to creating a positive social impact through PSG For Communities, with the intention of allocating funds and offering initiatives dedicated to empowering disadvantaged young people.
