Paris Saint-Germain win the 2026 UEFA Super Cup

Winners of the 51st edition of the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday 12 August 2026 in Salzburg thanks to victory over Aston Villa (2-1), Paris Saint-Germain underscored their place in the tournament’s history thanks to a second successive win. Backed by some 7000 fans at the Stadion Salzburg, Austria, the Rouge et Bleu added a 61st trophy to their list of honours and their fifth European crown after the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in 1996, the UEFA Super Cup in 2025 and their two UEFA Champions League wins in 2025 and 2026. It is quite a way to celebrate the Club’s 56th birthday.
