Kicking off a collective initiative with local partners
The selection of a site is a significant decision, both for the Club and for the territory that will host it. That is why the preliminary study process is conducted with the utmost care and a clear commitment to developing this ambitious project in close cooperation with all responsible parties. The steering committees bring together elected officials from the relevant local authorities, State representatives, project managers, and land stakeholders, and will meet at each key stage to guide and inform the collective reflection.
A first step focused on prefeasibility studies
During this initial session, discussions focused both on the decision to retain Massy and Poissy as study sites and on the scope of the prefeasibility studies launched in June 2025. This phase involves a wide range of experts as well as local partners, who are closely associated with the process. Paris Saint-Germain also presented the overall project monitoring structure, as well as the topics requiring particular attention in the next stages: access, mobility, and consideration of usage patterns. Participants also emphasized the importance of approaching this initiative in all its dimensions: the capacity to create value for the territory, contribute to its dynamics, and integrate sustainably into its urban and social environment.
These steering committees, chaired by Paris Saint-Germain, will meet regularly to support the studies and work on the essential conditions for hosting such a project in the territories.
“The launch of this first Steering Committee illustrates the Club’s commitment to advance transparently and collectively with all stakeholders. I am pleased that all parties responded to Paris Saint-Germain’s invitation: elected officials and State representatives at every territorial level — regional, departmental, intercommunal, and municipal. Their engagement demonstrates the interest in this project, which can only be designed and realized with them. Our ambition is clear: to build a stadium fully integrated into its territory.”
