A clutch of former Paris Saint-Germain players are right behind Luis Enrique's squad as they seek to reach the UEFA Champions League final for a second successive year.
Paris Saint-Germain head to Munich with some serious backers. Impressed by the first-leg performance, Pedro Miguel Pauleta is confident: "It was an incredible performance against a very good team. It'll be tough there, but I have a lot of confidence in our team to get a great result and reach the final."
Mamadou Sakho echoes that sentiment, and the former defender sees high-level consistency in the team. "It shows a strength of character, a lot of talent, and exceptional energy. Paris showed they stand up to be counted in big games."
The fans too will make a difference. "They are always behind the team, and they'll be there for them in Munich too," said Pauleta, with Sakho noting, "When you hear them, when you see that passion, it galvanises the team."
"You can really feel the atmosphere," added Jérémy Ménez, who knows every detail will count in the quest to retain the European crown.
The fans and the former players are united behind the team, with Sakho calling on the fans to "keep being the best supporters in Europe" and Ménez sending the message everyone wants the team to hear: "Keep going, we believe in you."
