Nigeria beat Zambia and make it into the semi-finals!

The Nigerian women's team, featuring Paris player Joe Echegini, beat Zambia 5-0 in the quarter-finals of the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations on Friday 8 July 2025, at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca.

Joe Echegini played 74 minutes before being substituted. The Nigerian team will face the winner of the quarter-final between Senegal and South Africa, which takes place on Saturday 19 July .
