A week after his outstanding performance in Caen (19 saves), Mikkel Lovkvist kept it rolling away to Saint-Raphaël on Sunday. From the very first minutes, the Danish goalkeeper kept the home side at bay, notably passing the symbolic milestone of 300 saves in the league. With 12 saves by the final buzzer, Mikkel put in another top-class performance that saw him named in the Team of the Week for the first time this season.
Our last line of defence is thus the sixth Parisian to feature in the Daikin Starligue Team of the Week this season, following Karl Konan on Matchdays 1 and 6, Luc Steins on Matchday 4, Kamil Syprzak on Matchday 6 and Mateo Maras on Matchday 7.
