Having joined Paris Saint-Germain Handball from SC Magdeburg in the summer of 2022, Jannick Green is set to leave the club at the end of the season. Take a look at the key stats from the Danish goalkeeper’s time at the capital club.

Jannick Green scored two goals for Les Rouge et Bleu! Both came in the Champions League: in the 27–31 victory at Kiel in the first leg of the quarter-finals in 2022–2023, and at Pelister the following season (25–31).

He was the fourth Danish player to turn out for Paris Saint-Germain Handball, following in the footsteps of Mikkel Hansen, Henrik Mollgaard and Henrik Toft Hansen. Since then, Jannick Green and Mikkel Lovkvist have joined that list.

The Danish goalkeeper won five trophies with Paris Saint-Germain Handball: four French league titles and the 2023 Trophée des Champions.

It was in the recently completed season that Jannick set his record for saves in a single EHF Champions League match, stopping no fewer than 18 shots in the win away to Zagreb last February (24–35).

In the league, his record for saves in a single match climbed to 21! This new level was unlocked in the victory against Tremblay (30–26) in the 2024–2025 season.

Magdeburg are Jannick Green’s favourite opponents in the Champions League. Our Danish goalkeeper has never shown any hesitation when facing his former team-mates, making 44 saves in four matches against them.

In the league, Chartres have struggled the most against him. In seven matches, he has made 74 saves – more than against any other top-flight opponent.

In his 16 Coupe de France appearances, Jannick has made a staggering 96 saves! His performance in last season’s Coupe de France quarter-final, which saw Les Rouge et Bleus beat Nantes on penalties, is particularly memorable.
