Transfers: What moves have our former Rouge et Bleus made?

As the start of the 2026–2027 season approaches, take a look at all the summer transfers involving players who have played for Paris Saint-Germain during their careers.
Of the 36 players who have played for Paris Saint-Germain and are still currently playing, 16 changed clubs this summer. Added to this number are the six summer departures from Les Rouge et Bleu themselves, with Jannick Green (HOJ Elite) and Jacob Holm (Skjern) returning to their native Denmark, Amara Karamoko signing for Elverum, the Norwegian side from which Sindre Heldal arrived last year. Heldal, for his part, is set to join Benfica.
In addition to these international departures, Gautier Loredon (Chambéry) and Stanis Soullier and Thomas Omeyer (Cournon d’Auvergne) are all staying in France for the 2026–2027 season. In total, 24 former Rouge et Bleu players will be playing across France this season.
Having been relegated to the Proligue a few months ago, Istres have strengthened their squad with the arrivals of tireless 40-year-old goalkeeper Arnaud Tabarand (who played for Paris in 2007–2008) and Louis Despreaux (2019–2021), who joins from Aix. Over at Pontault-Combaut, two 'Titis' are joining the squad and will be coached by Adrien Chaudanson: 'keeper Loïck Spady (2020–2022), signing from Angers, and Noah Lenclume (2021–2023). Having been part of US Saintes’ historic first season in the Proligue, the 24-year-old left-back has decided to take on a new challenge with PCHB.
Saintes are thus losing not one, but three former Parisian players. Whilst Axel Rosier (2012–2016) has signed for Niort HB Souchéen, who play in Nationale 3, Victor Crenn (2021–2025) will be representing Elite Val d’Oise. Also having come through the ranks en Rouge et Bleu, the right-back will now play under Patrice Annonay, who has just been appointed head coach of the newly promoted side. Finally, the latest move in the Proligue involves another ‘Titi’: Valentin Bzdynga (2020–2023). After spells at Chartres and then in Belgium last season, he is returning to France and will aim to help Ivry regain a place in the top flight.
In addition to these departures, five players will be playing in the second division without having changed clubs during the summer transfer window. As well as Adrien Chaudanson (2018–2020) at Pontault-Combaut, these include Robin Dourte (2018–2019) at Istres, Andry Goujon Bellevue (2018–2021) at Cherbourg and Baptiste Clay (2020–2023) at Frontignan.
In the Starligue, there were far fewer moves involving former Parisian players, but once again several ‘Titis’ are involved. After two seasons at Sélestat, Léo Villain (2021–2024) has taken on a new challenge and will now keep goal for Dunkerque. Edouard Kempf (2016–2020) will bolster Chartres’ right wing, whilst Thomas Loppy (2021–2022) will play for Saran following a splendid season at Cherbourg, which saw him win the title of Proligue’s best defender at the latest LNH Awards.
A true legend of the French league, Nicolas Claire, 38, is set to embark on his first spell abroad. The former Rouge et Bleu player (2006–2013) left Tremblay this summer to head to Kuwait, where he will play for Al-Sulaibikhat. He will not be the first former Parisian to play in this league, as Janus Lapajne (2015–2016) has just left Kazma Sports Club, a side in the Kuwaiti first division.
To round off the Starligue, seven players who have played for Paris have not changed clubs this summer. Among them are Gauthier Ivah (2018–2020) at Limoges, Tony Mendy (2022–2024) at Sélestat, Yoann Gibelin (2022–2024) at Nîmes, Noa Narcisse (2024–2025) at Saran, Ludwig Appolinaire (2012–2016) at Dunkerque, and David Balaguer (2022–2025) and Léo Plantin (2021–2025) at Montpellier.
AEK Athens duo Dylan Garain (2016–2017) and Adama Keita (2015–2024) have left the Greek club. While the former is currently a free agent, Adama has signed for GRK Orhid, recent winners of the EHF European Cup. There he will be reunited with Dominik Mathé (2022–2024), who also joined the Macedonian side this summer.
The only other move abroad is likely to be familiar to regular followers of the Parisian pre-season, as it concerns Andreas Palicka (2022–2025), who has left Wetzlar to join Füchse Berlin. This transfer had been finalised since last February, when the Swedish goalkeeper left Kolstad mid-season following the Norwegian side’s financial difficulties. He signed for Füchse Berlin, while also reaching an agreement to finish the season in Wetzlar pending Dejan Milosavljev’s departure to Kielce.
As a result, 13 former Parisian players will be playing abroad this season. In addition to the four players mentioned above, nine others will be wearing the same colours as last season. Germany has the largest contingent, with Dainis Kristopans(2020–2023) and Ruben Marchan (2023–2025) at Melsungen, Kent Robin Tonnesen (2023–2025) at Flensburg and Dani Baijens (2024–2025) at Rhein-Neckar Löwen.
In other leagues, Nedim Remili (2016–2022) is still playing for Veszprém, whilst Dylan Nahi (2016–2021) has just begun his final season in Kielce before returning to Paris next summer. Until then, Benoit Kounkoud (2014–2022) will remain his team-mate at the Polish club. Abdelrahman Abdou (2025–2026), meanwhile, will come up against his former team-mates in a few weeks’ time, as Zagreb have been drawn in the same group as Paris in the Champions League. Finally, Sadou N’Tanzi (2018–2024) is continuing his career in the United Arab Emirates with Al Arabi Sports Club.
