Paris Saint-Germain’s Under-21s were back in action with a pre-season friendly against Manchester City. After a first half in which neither side managed to make the difference, the two teams went into the break with the score at 0–0. It wasn’t until the second half that the deadlock was broken, thanks in particular to the substitutes.
A few minutes after coming on at the Campus PSG, it was Emmanuel Ferreira who opened the scoring for the Rouge et Bleu (1–0, 68'), following a pass from Daniel Marques, who had also come on as a substitute. The goal was enough to secure victory for the Parisians, who beat their Manchester counterparts and are now ready to continue their pre-season preparations with even greater confidence.
