Born in Andoany, Madagascar, Lafontaine began her career at CS Sedan Ardennes, where she plied her trade between 2021 and 2024, before joining Paris Saint-Germain’s academy in the summer of 2024.
During the 2024–2025 season, Lafontaine was a part of the squad that claimed the Championnat National U19 Féminin title, before continuing her development at the highest level over the course of the following campaign by gradually earning a first-team place. In fact, the striker would put in a standout performance against Thonon Évian in the Coupe LFFP quarter-finals, scoring a brace to help seal a 3–0 win for her side.
“I’m very happy to have signed my first professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain. This is a huge honour for me and an important step in my career, and I will keep working hard to improve, to help the team and to represent Les Rouge et Bleue with pride.”
The club would like to congratulate Marie Estella on signing her first professional contract and to wish her every possible success as part of the squad.
