Marie Estella Lafontaine: "It's up to me to prove that I'm equal to the task"

The young striker speaks to PSG TV about how happy she is to have signed her first professional contract with the capital club.
Marie Estella, how does it feel to turn pro with the club that developed you?
"I'm really happy to have signed here; it's a huge honour. I'd like to thank the club for showing enough faith in me to offer me this pro deal. It proves that they believe in me, so it's up to me to prove that I'm equal to the task."
What are your aims now that you're a professional?
"Just to give everything for the team and to improve every day. I want to be able to win trophies and to repay the trust that has been placed in me. We all want to win in order to write history with PSG."
Having spent time at PSG Campus, what do you make of this extraordinary complex?
"The facilities are incredible. Everything is geared towards giving us the best development possible, and everyone who works here on a daily basis allows us to be free and mentally available to focus on our football."
What message would you like to give to the fans?
"I can't wait to see them at games, and I hope that we'll share some great times."
