Luis Enrique: "Playing at home is always different"

The Paris Saint-Germain manager and João Neves spoke to PSG TV after their 1-0 win over Angers at the Parc des Princes tonight (Matchday 2 of Ligue 1).

“It feels very special. Playing at home, with the support of our fans, is always different. It’s superb. Overall, this game was positive; we won, and our opponents barely attacked. We pressed very well when we lost the ball, and I think that we created enough chances to win the game, so we’re happy. It’s always tough to play against teams who defend as well as this. It was difficult, but we're happy and need to keep going."
On the five trophies that Les Parisiens have won in 2025: "Those five trophies are the memories of this year, but we need to stay focused on working hard to win as many major trophies as possible, which is our aim. It was great to see the photo and to celebrate with our fans, but we want more, and we need to be ambitious.”

“I think that the best games are here, at home, with our fans. I like it when they sing; the atmosphere is incredible. I think that we had a great game, like we did against Tottenham and Nantes. We hadn’t done much preparation or training, but it was fine. We had the ball as much as ever, and we’ll try to repeat what we did last season."
On the five trophies: "We remember all of the moments from last season, which is great. We won five trophies, and we’ll try to get even more."
