The Paris Saint-Germain coach and Achraf Hakimi gave PSG TV their thoughts on the 2-0 win over Bayern Munich that has taken Paris Saint-Germain into the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 semi-finals.

"It was a very difficult match. It's always difficult to play against a great team like Bayern Munich. And thinking about the last part of the match where we played with one man less and then two, it was very difficult. I think it was a close game. We knew beforehand that it would be difficult, but we're happy.
"We have to recover and focus on the semi-final. In this very long season, to come here with that attitude that we see from the team in each training session and each game…I think we deserve to be here. I also think our fans deserve to see this. I hope we'll keep improving and be able to play another final, that's our goal."
"We showed character"

"They were very tough opponents. We know this sort of game is won on the small details. With the difficulties we had today, we were able to show character in order to win. We have got the victory and that's the most important thing. The mental aspect is also very important. Before leaving the dressing room, we said that the physical and mental aspects would be very important. We have the quality, because we have worked hard. But the mental side is the most important at this stage of the season, and we showed character after the two red cards."
