The Paris Saint-Germain Coach, Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembélé spoke to PSG TV after their penalty shootout victory over Tottenham Hotspur FC (1-1, 4-3 on penalties) on Wednesday 13 August at the Stadio Friuli in Udine, in the 2025 UEFA Super Cup.

LUIS ENRIQUE

"How crazy! That's the word, crazy... I have to say I'm very happy. I don't think we deserved to win, because the difference between a team like Tottenham, who have had a lot of training, and us, who have only had five training sessions... It's so different, I think it's a miracle. I'm happy because today, as usual, we saw our fans supporting the team throughout the match, even when we were losing 1-0 and then 2-0.

In the end, even though I don't think we deserved it, I have to say I'm happy for all the players and especially for the fans. It's important to win this trophy, even though we would have preferred to rest and think about next season. It's difficult to play in a Super Cup final because you have to win the Champions League or the Europa League. It was strange to have such short holidays, but once again I have to say that I'm happy with my players. We're happy, we're champions!"

BRADLEY BARCOLA

"We got off to a bad start with those two goals, but we managed to pick ourselves up, show our character by coming back and win the penalty shootout. We can only be happy tonight. The fans were already with us, which is great. We didn't think there would be so many of them, but their support has really meant a lot to us throughout the season and here again, it can only motivate us to win matches."

"The fans were exceptional, from start to finish."

Ousmane Dembélé

OUSMANE DEMBÉLÉ

"It's amazing. Honestly, at 2-0, we thought it was going to be tough, especially in the 85th minute. But we tried to stay in the game, thinking that with one goal, anything could happen. And as I said, the substitutions of Lee Kang-In, Fabian Ruiz, Ibrahim and Gonçalo helped us a lot.

After a week of training like that, it wasn't easy, but we went out to get the win and we're happy. The fans were exceptional, from start to finish. We could lose two or three nil, they'll still be there pushing us on. It feels good, as we say, they're the twelfth man and they push us all the time, it's huge."
