Luis Enrique: 'A very important win'

The PSG coach, Ferran Torres and Matvey Safonov spoke to PSG TV after the victory over Stade Brestois 29 (0–1) on Sunday 13 September 13 at the Stade Francis-Le Blé, on Matchday 4 of Ligue 1.
“It’s a very important win. Before the match, we already knew it was going to be a difficult and tight game, as usual, every time we play here. But today we started the match very well and managed to score that goal. I would have liked us to have had more control over the game, but it was difficult.
In the second half, we made a lot of mistakes, and it was very tough. I think we were less good tonight than in the first three league matches, but unlike in those games, we came away with all three points. That’s football.”
“It’s true that it wasn’t our best match. I think we were very competitive, and in the end, it’s also important to get this first win on a pitch that we knew was going to be difficult. Now we have another week to rest and prepare for next weekend’s match, which is also very important for us. My goal? What matters to me is always helping the team, regardless of how much playing time the coach decides to give me, and doing my part. Whether that’s through goals, assists, or my work on the pitch."
“It was tough. All the matches here against Brest are difficult. I think I’ve played against them three times before, and tonight was my fourth match. Brest are a team that always create chances and opportunities to score. I’m very happy that we were able to deal with those moments today and not concede a goal, that’s very important. It’s our first clean sheet of the season, and I hope we can continue like this.”
