“I think we’ve made a good start to the season, but we haven’t got the results we deserved. And yet, in football, that’s what matters most: results. Tomorrow, we’ll look to play the way we always do. Our mentality remains the same, as does our desire to win.”
“Tomorrow’s match is a real challenge, and that’s a source of motivation for us. We’ll be playing away against one of the best teams in the world, and we want to show that we can compete at that level. The result won’t determine what happens in the future. A lot can change for teams over the course of five or six months. But this is a big occasion, and it’s genuinely motivating for us.”
“We’re a team that always looks to attack, and Manchester City are the same. I enjoyed the football played by this team under Pep Guardiola, and I also enjoy the football they play under Enzo Maresca.”
“Great teams know how to defend just as well as they attack. They’re in a very good spell of form, having won all their Premier League matches. They’re top of the league and have a manager with clear playing principles. That’s what makes this match a challenge for us.”
“I’m very fond of Gigio Donnarumma. It was very difficult to see him leave when we had to make a decision, but that’s life. I’m happy for him and his new chapter at Manchester City.”
