The Netherlands make sure against Wales

Parisians Jackie Groenen and Romée Leuchter helped the Netherlands to a 3-0 win in their UEFA Women's Euro 2025 opener.

Andries Jonker's side made the perfect start in front of 14,000 fans in Lucerne. Jackie Groenen played the full game while Romée Leuchter was an unused substitute. The win leaves the Dutch top of Group D ahead of France, who they play on Wednesday 9 July in Zurich (6pm CEST).
