You’ve just signed your first professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain. How do you feel?
“I’m incredibly proud. Paris Saint-Germain is the club I’ve always supported, so being able to sign my first professional contract with them means the world to me. It’s the result of many years of hard work and sacrifice. Today, I’m very happy and, above all, determined to give my very best to help the team win as many trophies as possible.”
You’ve been at the Academy for several years now. What’s your fondest memory of playing for Paris?
“Two come to mind straight away. Firstly, winning the French U19 championship will always be a highlight. Secondly, my first appearances in the Champions League. Getting to experience that competition, playing in that atmosphere, in front of our fans and at that level of football was an incredible experience. I hope to have many more evenings like that.”
A final word for the Parisian supporters?
“First and foremost, I’d like to thank them. Their presence in the stands and their support mean a great deal to us on the pitch. They always give us that little bit of extra energy that can make all the difference. I hope they’ll continue to turn out in large numbers to support us throughout the season, so that we can celebrate lots of wins together.”
