Mikkel Lovkvist was the obvious choice for goalkeeper of the week on the national stage. The Parisian newcomer, still just 23, has established himself as a dominant presence in his area. Even from the penalty line, the Aix forwards struggled to find a way past him, denied by the Danish goalkeeper four times (from nine shots). Add to that his 12 saves in open play, and you have an incredible end-of-match tally of 16 saves (42%).
Mikkel is joined by another player from the Rouge et Bleu defence: Karl Konan, who made the most of his return to his former stomping ground. The French international scored one goal (from as many attempts) and also caused plenty of problems for the opposition attack, making life easier for his goalkeeper in the process. Unsurprisingly, both players were named in the Best 7 for Matchday 4.
