History, stakes and keys to the match! Check out the key numbers ahead of kick-off in the friendly between Paris Saint-Germain and RCD Mallorca, this Wednesday 5th August at 9pm at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix.

Arnau Tenas, the Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper on loan at RCD Mallorca for the 2026–2027 season, will be the only player on the pitch to have played for both teams.

Paris have already played in Mallorca once before, during the Ciudad de Palma Trophy organised by the Spanish club on 13th and 14th August 1982. The capital club beat Espanyol Barcelona in the semi-final (0–0, 4–2 on penalties) and then Slovan Bratislava in the final (3–0, with goals from Dominique Rocheteau, Mustapha Dahleb and Michel N’Gom).

Four players have represented both teams: Marco Asensio, Lee Kang-In, Nenê and Sergio Rico.

Paris are on a run of 12 unbeaten matches in their opening game of the season (10 wins and 2 draws). In the 2025–2026 season, the Parisians kicked off their campaign by winning the European Super Cup against Tottenham (2–2, 4–3 on penalties) on 13th August 2025 in Udine.

RCD Mallorca is set to become the Parisians’ 15th Spanish opponent, following Athletic Club, Atlético Madrid, FC Barcelona, Girona FC, De La Coruña, Real Madrid, Real Sociedad, Racing Santander, Sevilla FC, Valencia CF (official matches), RCD Espanyol de Barcelona, Jerez CD, RC Celta and Villarreal CF (friendly matches).
