Jean-François Vulliez new coach of the U21s
A renowned trainer of youth talent, Jean-Francois Vulliez joins Paris Saint-Germain after a distinguished career in French and European football that included thirteen years with Olympique Lyonnais.
He joined the Rhône-based club in 2011, working with young players for several seasons as a coach and then as head of the U7-U15 division.
From 2017 to 2023, he was director of the club's youth academy, where he played a key role in guiding players to the highest level, overseeing their transition to the professional team and helping to develop a number of talented players, notably Bradley Barcola.
In the 2023-2024 season, he joined the VOL professional team as assistant coach.
In 2024-2025, he joined AC Horsens as senior team assistant coach.
In addition to his wealth of experience, Jean-Francois Vulliez is also highly qualified: he holds the BEFF (Brevet d'Entraineur Formateur de Football), the benchmark for technical coaching in training structures, as well as the BEPF (Brevet d'Entraineur Professionnel de Football), the highest qualification awarded by the FFF, authorising coaching at the highest professional level.
At Paris Saint-Germain, his main task will be to manage the U21 team, with the aim of ensuring their transition to professional football.
