Born in Tilburg (Netherlands), Jackie Groenen began her professional career at SG Essen-Schönebeck, in North Rhine-Westphalia, before going on to play for MSV Duisburg, Chelsea FC, 1. FFC Frankfurt and Manchester United. A Netherlands international since 2016, the midfielder has established herself over the years as one of the most experienced players in European football. A European champion with the Netherlands in 2017 and a FIFA Women’s World Cup finalist in 2019, she joined Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2022.
Since joining the Club, Jackie Groenen has made 112 appearances in Rouge et Bleu, scoring 6 goals and providing 10 assists. The Dutch midfielder has contributed to Paris Saint-Germain’s performances in recent seasons through her experience, consistency and knowledge of the highest level. She notably lifted the Coupe de France in 2024.
A Netherlands international since 2016, Jackie Groenen has now earned 132 caps and scored 10 goals for the Oranje. A European champion in 2017, Algarve Cup winner in 2018 and FIFA Women’s World Cup finalist in 2019, she brings considerable experience of the biggest competitions on the international stage.
