Paris Saint-Germain’s expertise to support every young player’s development
PSG Academy Uruguay will officially open its doors with an inaugural training camp from 14 to 18 December 2026 at Ciudad Deportiva Nogales, bringing together hundreds of girls and boys aged 4 to 18.
From February 2027, PSG Academy Uruguay will offer a year-round program similar to those delivered across all of the Club’s football schools, welcoming approximately 300 young players of all levels at Parque Batlle.
Throughout the year, participants will benefit from weekly training sessions, competitions, school-holiday camps and activities designed to support their sporting development in a demanding, stimulating and supportive environment.
The official PSG Academy methodology, directly inspired by the standards of the Paris Saint-Germain Youth Academy, aims to develop players’ technical, tactical, physical and cognitive abilities while instilling the values that define the Club: respect, discipline, commitment and teamwork.
To ensure consistently high coaching standards across the network, local coaches will be trained and regularly supported by Paris Saint-Germain’s technical teams.
Today is a very special day for Uruguayan football. We are extremely proud and delighted to announce the opening of the PSG Academy in Uruguay. This is no ordinary announcement: PSG has chosen Uruguay to join its international network of football schools. Our ambition is not only to develop footballers, but also to help young people grow with strong values, big dreams and a genuine passion for the game. Today, we are beginning a new chapter that we will write together — a story that builds a bridge between two cultures united by two passions: Paris Saint-Germain and football.
