"I was expecting a tough match. They get better every time we play them. They have players who are developing well, just like their national team, which gave several teams a run for their money at the Olympics last year. We still need to work on certain things, and we're always looking to develop our automatisms and connections within the team. It will happen gradually; we have a new squad and new coaching staff. We need to give it time to take shape. These kinds of matches are important for us because they expose us to the high intensity we'll encounter as soon as official competition resumes."

"It was an intense match, as we expected. The atmosphere was incredible, and it's always a pleasure to come and play here in Japan. We faced a team that gave their all - it was a tough battle - and it will help us a lot to prepare for the start of the season. Tomorrow's match against Japan will surely be even more demanding, as it's a national team. In any case, we want to play through the fatigue so that we can be ready for the important moments that await us this season, despite the fatigue we'll have accumulated."
