Emilie, how does it feel to join Paris Saint-Germain?
"I’m really happy and excited to have joined such a big club as PSG. This is a club with a lot of history and ambition, so I’m happy."
How would you describe yourself as a player?
"I would describe myself as a player who likes to have the ball at my feet. I like to dictate the game and the duels."
What can you tell us about your journey so far?
"I think it’s been a good journey. It made me who I am today. Of course, there were some ups and downs, but it only made me stronger, and now, I’m here."
Did you grow up with any role models?
"I really liked seeing Xavi and Iniesta play when I was younger. I was looking at how they were playing and how they were seeing the game."
Following your spells in the Norwegian and Swedish top flights, the Arkema Première Ligue is set to be third different league that you'll have played in. What do you make of it?
"I haven’t seen that much of the French league, but of course, I’ve seen PSG in the Champions League. It’s a great and physical league with a high tempo, so I’m excited."
How do you feel about being at PSG Campus?
"It’s been really nice to come here. Everyone has been so welcoming. The facilities are amazing, and it has everything you need to become a great football player."
What are you hoping to achieve at PSG?
"As an individual, I'd like to develop my qualities and to improve as a player. In terms of the team, I want to win games. If you win games, you win trophies, so I’m looking forward to that."
Have you checked out Paris yet?
"I haven’t had the chance to visit Paris yet, but I remember being here when I was younger, and I really liked the city. I’m excited to go there and see it myself in the next couple of days."
Do you have a message for the Paris fans?
"I’m really honoured to be at this club, and I’m excited to play in front of you and to give everything for this club."
