“We’re very pleased. It’s not easy to pick up points here. We could have taken both points, but we found it tougher in the second half. We lacked options in attack. The most important thing today is the team’s fighting spirit. The way we fought for sixty minutes was extraordinary. We always believed we could win this match, and that’s why we’re taking this point home with us today. With this new format, every point is even more important. We’ll have to keep going, with the league match on Saturday and the Champions League next week.”
“It was a brilliant match to kick off this European campaign. It was an intense encounter; we were very good in the first half. Then we felt our momentum drop a bit. Niklas Landin made several saves and we weren’t quite as strong in defence – we lost possession a few times – but we never gave up. We fought back to secure a draw away from home; I think it's a valuable point. We might feel a bit frustrated, as we played well and led for a good spell, but we’ll focus on our league matches and the other teams in our Champions League group. We’ve got a great return leg against them at home in a few weeks’ time.”
