“I’m really pleased. We controlled the whole match apart from the first 6–7 minutes. Celje are a very young side, but they showed a lot of spirit. We had to push hard, but it gave us the chance to see a lot of players in action. They all put in a fine performance. We’re delighted to have broken the club’s record for goals scored in a Champions League match, but we face a new challenge this Saturday against a Toulouse side who have found its rhythm. We’ll need to be at 100 per cent!”
“We’re doing well both in attack and defence. I think it’s above all down to the discipline we show in training and the communication we have, which helps us improve constantly throughout the season. We’re very pleased, but we mustn’t rest on our laurels, as it’s going to get tougher and tougher. We need to stay focused; for now it’s working well and it’s great fun. We’re not overcomplicating things; we’re trying to find the simplest solutions. Everyone is disciplined and capable of scoring. We’ve managed to build some consistency, and it’s good for everyone to be able to play a part in every match. It’s great to feel such a positive atmosphere.”
