Paris Saint-Germain jetted to Austria on Tuesday morning ahead of their UEFA Super Cup clash with Aston Villa on Wednesday (9pm).
Barely two months after claiming the UEFA Champions League for the second successive season and two weeks after returning to training, the vast majority of the first-team squad, including World Cup semi-finalists Lucas Hernandez, Warren Zaïre-Emery, Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembélé, new signings Lucas Digne and Maghnes Akliouche and World Cup winner Fabian Ruiz, met up at the PSG Campus before heading to Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport to catch the flight to Austria.
Around 12:30pm CEST, Paris Saint-Germain touched down at Salzburg Airport-W.A. Mozart before heading to their hotel, where they were greeted by fans.
The coach, captain Marquinhos and midfielder Vitinha will face the international press before the whole squad goes through their paces at the 30,188-capacity arena to fine-tune their preparations for Wednesday's encounter with Aston Villa.
