For the third consecutive season, Paris Saint-Germain is entrusting the creation of its Champions League match posters to the talents of a leading Parisian creative school.
Following collaborations with Penninghen and Camondo, it is now the turn of students from GOBELINS Paris to unleash their creativity. This season brings an exciting new dimension: every poster will also come to life through an animated version. Two creative formats combining imagery and motion to capture the magic of Europe's biggest football nights.
Creative freedom to reimagine Paris Saint-Germain's European nights
For the 2026–2027 season, Paris Saint-Germain is continuing its dialogue with Paris's leading creative schools through a new collaboration with GOBELINS Paris, renowned in France and internationally for its expertise in visual arts, including animation, graphic and motion design, interactive design, photography and video games.
Consistently ranked among the world's leading animation schools, GOBELINS Paris has nurtured generations of creative talent and helped showcase French creativity on the international stage.
Students from the school's Animation Department will be given complete creative freedom to design Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League match posters throughout the 2026–2027 season. The aim is to encourage them to explore the Club's universe, identity, visual codes and history, and bring their own personal and original interpretations to life.
Each European fixture will become a new canvas for artistic expression, seen through the eyes and creative vision of emerging talents.
This season, the posters come to life
This season introduces an exciting new feature: every poster will also have its own animated version.
A natural extension of the collaboration with GOBELINS Paris, whose expertise in animation is recognised around the world.
Far more than simply bringing a static image into motion, animation will give students the opportunity to explore new forms of storytelling and add an entirely new dimension to their work.
Two complementary ways of telling the story of each match, brought to life at the Parc des Princes and across the Club's digital platforms and social media channels.
Football as a creative platform for the next generation
Following Penninghen and Camondo, this new collaboration builds on an initiative that has become an established part of Paris Saint-Germain's European campaigns. Since its launch, students have created 26 posters, each reflecting the unique perspective and artistic sensibility of its creator.
Beyond the artistic dimension, the project offers students valuable real-world professional experience and international exposure, including the opportunity to present their work at the Parc des Princes ahead of matches and reach the vast audiences of Paris Saint-Germain's digital platforms.
Through this initiative, Paris Saint-Germain continues to champion emerging creative talent while reinforcing its unique position at the intersection of sport, art and culture.
First creations to be unveiled ahead of the Manchester City match on 14 October
The collaboration will make its debut next week, ahead of the Champions League fixture against Manchester City on 14 October, offering a first glimpse into the creative world imagined by GOBELINS Paris students.
It will then unfold throughout the Club's European campaign, with each fixture inspiring new artistic interpretations from the students.
"From our very first meeting with the students at GOBELINS Paris, I was struck by their curiosity, energy and enthusiasm for exploring the world of Paris Saint-Germain. We introduced them to the Club, shared our identity, our codes and our history, but above all, we gave them the freedom to bring their own perspective to who we are. That is exactly what makes collaborations like this so meaningful: bringing different worlds together, opening up the Club to a new generation of creators and giving them a platform to surprise us. With the exceptional talent and animation expertise of GOBELINS Paris, we can't wait to discover their vision of Paris Saint-Germain and see it come to life."
"I am delighted with this partnership with Paris Saint-Germain, which presents our students with a truly exciting challenge: giving each Champions League match its own visual identity. Our animation students have been given complete creative freedom to design iconic posters for every fixture, as well as a compilation poster bringing the entire series together. It is a challenge worthy of the occasion, offering something no classroom exercise can replicate: a real collaboration, a real commission and a real audience. The choice of GOBELINS talent to take on this challenge is no coincidence. Their craft is about telling stories, capturing movement and conveying intensity. It is proof that visual creativity has a natural place at the heart of sport and shared emotion."
