With just a few hours to go before Paris Saint-Germain Handball and Wisla Plock face off Matchday 5 of the EHF Champions League group stage, check out the key facts and stats linking the two teams.

Only two Polish players have represented the capital club during their careers: Robert Lis (2005–2008) and Kamil Syprzak (since 2019).

Three players have represented Plock and Paris during their careers: Rodrigo Corrales, Kamil Syprzak, and Petar Nenadic.

Wednesday will mark the tenth meeting between Plock and Paris. So far, the balance is heavily in favour of Les Rouge et Bleu, who have won nine times and lost only once against the Polish side. However, that sole defeat came in the last meeting between the two teams. The capital club will therefore be keen to regain the upper hand against the Blue and Whites.

Be it against against Kielce or Plock, Paris have faced off against their Polish teams 24 times in its history. Les Rouge et Bleu have a positive overall record of 16 wins for eight losses.

With 28 goals in six head-to-head matches, Luc Steins' favourite Champions League prey is Plock. It was also against Xavi Sabate's men that our centre-half set his record for goals scored in an EHF Champions League match, with seven strikes in last season's defeat at Coubertin (28-31).

Elohim Prandi has never been more decisive against an opponent in the EHF Champions League than he has been against Plock, with 36 goals in six matches.
