The visit brought together many distinguished guests, including a delegation from the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macao, as well as partner CTF Life, represented by Justin Wong, Vice President and Head of Fan Experience, CTF Life, and Ruby Kwan, Vice President and Head of Corporate Marketing, CTF Life, whose support helped make this meeting a particularly distinguished occasion. The reception, punctuated with a touch of French art de vivre created by caterer Bain Marie, set the tone for a day of sharing and conviviality.
Speaking to the local media, Nadia Benmokhtar reiterated the strategic importance of this visit, illustrating Paris Saint-Germain's commitment to developing young talent and promoting its international influence.
But it was on the pitch that the emotion really took shape. Welcomed by a guard of honour made up of young players and their parents, Blaise Matuidi was greeted by a vibrant atmosphere, brought to life by more than 250 academy players who had come to meet the Parisian legend. From the U4s to the U15s, everyone had the chance to chat with the former French international, receive his advice and share a few minutes of play alongside him. As each age group took their turn, the intensity grew — especially among the older players, who were determined to impress their illustrious visitor. Matuidi, true to his generous nature, played along energetically, giving each player a precious souvenir.
The day ended with an exciting meet-and-greet, where autographs, photos and signed jerseys delighted the young players, their families and the partners in attendance. With smiles, inspiration and a passion for football, all the ingredients were there to make this visit a success.
Special thanks go to CTF Life, who have enabled young athletes from the newly established Guangdong region to travel from Guangzhou to Hong Kong to participate in this landmark event — a gesture that confirms its strong commitment to the PSG Academy and its educational mission.
