Paris Saint-Germain trained at the KSU Campus, Kennesaw, in Georgia on Thursday 26th June.

After making the most of their rest day, the Rouge et Bleu made their way to the American university that was excited to welcome the European champions. "It's incredible to have a team of PSG's calibre here" explained Matthew O'Neill, the social media specialist at KSU who covered the training session for the prestigious university. "The university facilities are perfect for good preparation, among the best in the region. The Argentina national team came here last year, as have many other teams."

"I was very excited when I discovered Paris Saint-Germain were coming here to train, as were the students of Kennesaw State University" a former student at KSU added. "The club has a lot of fans, everyone knows them here. Their reputation continues to grow, especially since they became champions of Europe. I've watched the first few matches of this competition and I think they're the favourites, I hope they go on to win it!"

On the agenda this Thursday, small sided matches and work in front of goal, in front of French and international press. "We cover a lot of sports, primarily those with Venezuelan athletes involved" stated Alejandra Villegas, Director of Sport Venezuela. "At the moment, we're focussed on the Club World Cup and we're very excited to see Paris Saint-Germain here in Atlanta."

"PSG are an internationally renowned team" the journalist added. "In South America, we follow the European teams and their news a lot. This club captivates people because it's a success story. They signed a lot of stars and were unable to win the Champions League, and then they managed to do it without them... having the team here is fantastic!"

The Parisians are now focussed on preparing for their round of 16 match which will see them face Inter Miami CF on Sunday 29th June at 6pm (French time, 12pm in Georgia) at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. "For me, Paris Saint-Germain are, of course, favourites" Villegas concluded. "Crossing paths with Messi again is a great story. I think there will be a lot of emotion for fans of the club and football in general worldwide. I think they will win and make it through to the quarter finals, that's what I'm hoping for them anyway!"
