Born 21 January 2008 in Paris, Arthur Vignaud joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2021 from FC Issy (Issy-les-Moulineaux). The goalkeeper, who stands 1.85m tall, joined the Club’s Pre-Youth Academy at 13 before continuing his development at the Youth Academy, which was recently named the best in France by the French Football Federation.
France U19 champion in 2024-2025, he confirmed his potential the following campaign with a major contribution to the League-Gambardella Cup double. He registered seven clean sheets in 13 league games, and also impressed in the 3-2 defeat of Montpellier in the cup final last May.
Despite his young age, Arthur already has top-level experience. A France U16 international in 2023-2024, he also featured in two UEFA Youth League games, contributing to the Rouge-et-Bleus’ run to the semi-finals last season.
A regular participant in first-team training sessions, he was also called into the first-team squad by Luis Enrique last season: against Paris FC in Ligue 1 on 4 January 2026 and for the UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg against Bayern Munich on 6 May 2026.
Paris Saint-Germain are delighted with this latest step in Arthur’s career and wish him all the very best as he continues to develop in the Rouge-et-Bleu colours.

I’m immensely proud to sign my first professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain, the club of my heart. After several years at the pre-Youth Academy and the Youth Academy, I’m very happy to take this next step. I’m going to keep working hard on a daily basis and give everything for his shirt.
