Patrice Annonay to leave Paris Saint-Germain Handball at the end of the season

Paris Saint-Germain Handball has announced that Patrice Annonay will be leaving the club at the end of the 2025–2026 season. Having joined the club in the summer of 2023, Patrice Annonay initially served as Raul Gonzalez’s assistant coach during the 2023–2024 and 2024–2025 seasons, before becoming goalkeeping coach after Stefan Madsen arrived in the summer of 2025. At the end of this season, Patrice Annonay will leave Paris Saint-Germain Handball to begin his career as head coach.

A former French international goalkeeper, Patrice Annonay played at the highest level for over twenty years. Having come through the ranks at Angers, he went on to play for Paris Handball and then Paris Saint-Germain Handball for more than ten seasons before ending his playing career at Tremblay.

Patrice Annonay will have his final match on the Paris bench at Coubertin on Saturday 6 June, when the team plays host to Tremblay, whom he represented for five seasons between 2016 and 2021.
