About Paris Saint-Germain Handball
Founded in 1970 and winners of the UEFA Champions League in 2025, Paris Saint-Germain is France’s most successful club and a leading force in European football. Since 2011, under the leadership of Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), it has established itself as a multi-sport organisation (men’s and women’s football, handball, judo, esports).
Since its takeover by QSI in 2012, the handball section has risen to become one of the top teams in European handball, winning 26 national titles and qualifying for the EHF Champions League Final4 six times in eight seasons. Over the seasons, the squad has included some of the world’s best players, such as Mikkel Hansen, Luc Abalo, Thierry Omeyer, Daniel Narcisse and the Karabatic brothers, and has strengthened its ranks by developing young talent from its youth academy. This strategy has enabled the club to set new records, such as the perfect league season in 2021–2022, with thirty wins from as many matches.
With over 500 million fans and 235,240,300 followers, it has become a global brand at the intersection of sport, culture and fashion, notably thanks to its partnership with Jordan. In 2024, PSG opened the PSG Campus, a state-of-the-art €300 million complex. As a New Generation Club, Paris Saint-Germain combines sporting excellence, cultural influence and social impact to shape the future of sport and society.
