The Netherlands, featuring Paris Saint-Germain forward Romée Leuchter, beat clubmate Paulina Dudek's Poland in the final match of the 2027 World Cup qualifying campaign on Tuesday 9 June 2026. Finishing second and fourth in their group respectively, the two Parisian players will have to go through a play-off round to stand a chance of securing their place in Brazil.

Romée Leuchter played the full 90 minutes and scored the Netherlands’ second goal. For Poland, Paulina Dudek also started the match and wore the captain’s armband.
