Paris Saint-Germain midfielder João Neves made his 100th appearance for the club this evening (Matchday 3 of Ligue 1) in a 2–1 defeat to AS Monaco.
Having moved to the French capital on 5th August 2024, the Portugal international has rapidly established himself as a crucial component of Luis Enrique's starting XIs and has won no fewer than 10 trophies in his two seasons at the club, including two consecutive UEFA Champions Leagues.
As a vital presence in the middle of the park, Neves has scored 14 goals for Paris and provided the same number of assists. The 21-year-old has also come in clutch for his team on several big occasions, such as the 4–2 win over Manchester City in January 2025 or, more recently, the 5–4 victory over Bayern Munich in the first leg of the UCL semi-final tie in April this year.
