Born in Trondheim, Norway, on 7 January 2007, Frøya Dorsin made her professional debut for Rosenborg BK at just 15 years of age. She quickly established herself as a key member of the Norwegian side's first team, making 28 appearances and scoring five goals. She also helped Rosenborg win the Norwegian Cup in 2023.
Frøya joined Paris Saint-Germain in September 2024 and made her debut for the Rouge et Bleu the following month in an Arkema Première Ligue match against FC Fleury. Since arriving at the Club, she has made 16 appearances in all competitions, scored two goals and provided one assist. She also spent the second half of the 2025/2026 season on loan at AS Roma to continue her development.
An international since the U15 age group, Frøya Dorsin currently represents Norway at U23 level.
