Elisa De Almeida joined Paris Saint-Germain from Montpellier HSC in the summer of 2021 and went on to spend five seasons in Rouge et Bleu. Born in Châtenay-Malabry and raised in the Paris region, the defender has spent an important part of her career in the capital, representing the Club with enthusiasm and determination and always showing a strong attachment to the shirt.
With Paris Saint-Germain, Elisa De Almeida won two Coupes de France, in 2022 and 2024. She also played her part in the Club’s European campaigns, including two UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-finals, in 2022 and 2024. After five seasons in Paris, the French defender is now preparing to experience a new league as she joins Arsenal.
Her time in the French capital also coincided with her development on the international stage with France. A senior international since 2019, Elisa has earned 52 caps and scored 5 goals for Les Bleues. A UEFA Women’s Under-19 European champion in 2016, she has notably represented France at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and UEFA Women’s EURO 2025.
As this chapter, which began in 2021, comes to an end, Paris Saint-Germain would like to warmly thank Elisa for her five years in Rouge et Bleu, for her energy and commitment, and for all the moments shared at the Club. Paris Saint-Germain wishes her all the very best for this new chapter in her career and her new adventure in England.
