Paris Saint-Germain's first-team squad will return to training on Monday 27 July, at the PSG Campus. Here's an overview of what awaits the Rouge et Bleu this summer!
After an emotional World Cup campaign for our Parisiens, no more so than for Fabián Ruiz whose Spain side took home the trophy, a squad, missing several players whose return has been postponed, will report back to the club's training center in Poissy this Monday. The objective is clear: get back to work and officially kick off preparations for Paris Saint-Germain's 2026–2027 season, a campaign that is set to begin at full speed.
Paris will get their first minutes of the summer around ten days later with their first pre-season friendly against Spanish side RCD Mallorca on Wednesday 5 August, with kick-off scheduled for 21:00 at Estadi Mallorca Son Moix. The team will then travel to Sweden for their second warm-up match, facing Manchester United just three days later at 17:00 at Nya Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg.
As tradition dictates, the football season will begin with the UEFA Super Cup, the annual match between the winners of the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. Luis Enrique and his players will therefore face another English club, Aston Villa, on Wednesday 12 August at 21:00 at Stadion Salzburg in Austria, hoping to retain their trophy and win another European title. Paris will have the opportunity to add another honour to its list of achievements just four days later, in the Trophée des Champions against RC Lens, winners of the Coupe de France last season. Kick-off is scheduled for 20:45 at Stade Bollaert-Delelis.
Exactly one week later, on Sunday 23 August, also at 20:45, the five-time defending French champions will kick off the 2026–27 Ligue 1 season with their opening fixture at the Parc des Princes against Stade Rennais FC. Then, four days later, the back-to-back European champions will discover their eight opponents in the UEFA Champions League league phase during the competition's draw, rounding off what promises to be a packed and exciting July and August schedule!
