Born on 4 June 2001 in Serbia, Andjela Krstić began her career with Red Star Belgrade, where she spent several seasons. A left-footed centre-back, she enjoyed her first major successes with the Serbian capital club in 2024, winning the league and cup double, before leaving her home country for her first experience abroad.
Andjela joined FC Basel in the summer of 2024, where she discovered the Swiss league. Over two seasons, the Serbian defender made 24 league appearances and scored 2 goals for the Swiss side. In her final season, she featured in 14 Women’s Super League matches. Her time in Switzerland allowed her to continue her development outside Serbia before joining Paris Saint-Germain.
A Serbia international who previously represented her country at U17 and U19 level, Andjela Krstić has earned 12 caps for the senior national team. Regularly called up by Serbia in recent years, she has notably featured in qualifying campaigns for major international tournaments and was part of the Serbian squad for the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 qualifying play-offs.
