Men's football
A connection with the fans, staggering numbers and memories etched forever: a look back at a historic season for Paris Saint-Germain, 2024–2025 French Champions and the undisputed masters of French football.

A triumphant march to a 13th title

The 2024–2025 season will go down in Paris Saint-Germain’s history as one of the most dominant ever seen in Ligue 1. Luis Enrique’s men played their football with clinical consistency and relentless intensity. From the opening matchdays, the tone was set: convincing victories, a flood of goals and an air of composed dominance.

PSG quickly took control of the league and never let it go. The title was officially secured on Matchday 28, following a 1–0 win over Angers at the Parc des Princes, thanks to a goal from Désiré Doué, one of the standout performers of the season’s second half.

It was a season marked by renewal, youth and a fresh chapter… With new players who swiftly embraced the ambitions of the capital club. The triumphant march found its rhythm early and never wavered.

The numbers behind the supremacy

At the end of the league season, the numbers speak for themselves:

  • 84 points (2.47 per match)

  • 26 wins, 6 draws, only 2 losses

  • 92 goals scored, 35 conceded, +57 goal difference

  • Best attack, best defence, best possession (68.2%), record number of shots per match (18.7)

But beyond the stats, Paris set a new record for unbeaten away matches in Ligue 1: 37 consecutive games without defeat on the road, a streak that began back in 2023 and continued throughout this season. A true mark of consistency and composure!

Individual brilliance for the good of the squad

This victory, these successes, this historic season are above all a credit to Luis Enrique, who fulfilled his promise: to build a cohesive and high-performing team in which individual talents shine without ever overshadowing the collective game.

It’s hard to single out one player in particular, as the entire team stood out throughout the campaign. That said, Ousmane Dembélé had an extraordinary season, finishing as Ligue 1’s top scorer with 21 goals and netting 35 in all competitions for Paris. His consistency, dribbling power and flashes of brilliance tore through defences, regardless of the opponent!

Another remarkable stat: Bradley Barcola played 64 out of 65 possible matches for PSG this season. In Ligue 1, the Parisian No. 29 scored 14 goals and delivered 10 assists, numbers that reflect his rapid rise and growing influence.

And we could name so many others who showed progress, consistency, confidence and maturity at every key moment of the season, making this Paris Saint-Germain side truly one for the history books.

An XXL Season, with a climax in Europe

Throughout the season, the Parc des Princes came alive with energy. The bond between the players and the supporters was incredible, whether in the stands every matchday or cheering from afar, the passion for PSG was unwavering.

Domestic domination was just the foundation of an even greater achievement. This team, already crowned champions in France, etched its name into history by winning the Champions League, delivering a resounding 5–0 victory over Inter Milan in the final in Munich. With that triumph, PSG has stepped into a new realm: European legends.
