Bénin, led by Parisian Stéphane Sessegnon, drew 1-1 with Burundi in Cotonou on Sunday for the opening match of the qualifications for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
Mickaël Poté (5') had given Les Ecureuils the lead, but Burundi equalised late on through Cédric Amissi (85').
