In their return clash against Genk to qualify for the Europa League group stages, the LOSC won 4-2 to go through easily ahead of Sunday's visit to the Parc des Princes.
"We struggled a bit. We have to learn that when you concede a goal, even if its against the run of play, then you have to keep on playing. I don't know what was going through the players' heads. We'll talk about it. Our attackers are scoring goals which is good for the confidence and that's very satisfying," said Lille coach Rudi Garcia.
