This recognition is also reflected in the individual results, with ten Parisian players among the 30 nominees for the Ballon d’Or: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (6th), Ousmane Dembélé (7th), Fabián Ruiz (10th), Achraf Hakimi (13th), Vitinha (14th), Ferran Torres (16th), João Neves (19th), Willian Pacho (20th), Nuno Mendes (23th) and Marquinhos (25th). Luis Enrique, Matvey Safonov and Warren Zaïre-Emery are also nominated in the categories for Best Coach, the Yashin Trophy and the Kopa Trophy.
These accolades are a testament not only to the consistency of the sporting vision championed by President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and Luis Campos, but also to the global influence of Paris Saint-Germain, an ambassador for Paris and France on the international stage.
Paris Saint-Germain remains at the pinnacle of world football! Having already been crowned champions in Paris in 2025, the club was once again named Men’s Club of the Season this evening in London. Naturally, the trophy was presented to the Rouge & Bleu by several members of Arsenal’s ‘Invincibles’, including Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Robert Pirès and Sol Campbell.
This accolade caps off a historic 2025–2026 season, marked by five trophies: the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, the FIFA Intercontinental Cup, the Ligue 1 title and the Trophée des Champions.
A year after winning its first European title, Paris Saint-Germain retained the trophy by beating Arsenal on penalties (1–1, 4–3 on penalties) in the final in Budapest. On the domestic front, the Parisians secured their 14th Ligue 1 title – their fifth in a row, a first in the club’s history – as well as their 14th Trophée des Champions.
On the international stage, the Rouge & Bleu also won the UEFA Super Cup against Tottenham in Udine (2–2, 4–3 on penalties), becoming the first French club to add their name to the competition’s list of winners, they then went on to win the FIFA Intercontinental Cup in Doha against Flamengo (1–1, 2–1 on penalties).
This latest team accolade comes alongside individual recognition for several Parisian players at the 70th Ballon d’Or ceremony. With ten players amongst the 30 nominees – a record number – Paris Saint-Germain is the best-represented club in this shortlist. Three of its players also feature in the Top 10.
Ousmane Dembélé (7th) and Fabian Ruiz (10th) join Khvicha Kvaratskhelia amongst the top-ranked, whilst Achraf Hakimi (13th), Vitinha (14th), Ferran Torres (16th), Joao Neves (19th), Willian Pacho (20th), Nuno Mendes (23rd) and Marquinhos (25th) round off this remarkable Parisian contingent on the international stage.
These awards recognise players with complementary profiles, whose performances have contributed significantly to the team’s success. Ousmane Dembélé, winner of the 2025 Ballon d’Or, scored 20 goals in 40 matches during the 2025–2026 season. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, voted the Champions League’s best player, became the first player in history to make a goal scoring conribution in seven consecutive knockout matches.
These performances illustrate the strength of a squad in which individual talents flourish in the name of a collective ambition.
Aside from the Ballon d’Or rankings, other Paris Saint-Germain players are making the headlines on 26th October 2026. As key figures in the club’s latest European triumph, Warren Zaïre-Emery and Matvey Safonov are also seeing their season's efforts rewarded.
The 20-year-old French midfielder has been ranked 3rd in the Kopa Trophy, which recognises the best young players in the world. As the club’s most-used player last season, he represents the success of the Parisian academy, with ten of its players having represented the Rouge & Bleu in the 2025–2026 season.
Nominated for the Yashin Trophy, which goes to the best goalkeeper of the season, Matvey Safonov has secured 4th place, a fitting reward for his performances throughout the season.
Crowned best manager last year, Luis Enrique has also cemented his place amongst the world’s leading managers. This is further recognition for a man who, in just three seasons and with thirteen trophies to his name, has become the most successful manager in the club’s history.
These awards are a testament to a team effort, driven by the vision of President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and brought to fruition by the entire Club. By enabling talented players to reach their full potential in pursuit of a shared goal, Paris Saint-Germain has reached a new milestone and firmly established itself at the very top of European football. Voted Men’s Club of the Season for the second year running, the club has seen its entire sporting project recognised and rewarded.
Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, President of Paris Saint-Germain: “Paris Saint-Germain is immensely proud to receive this Club of the Season award for the second year running. This trophy recognises the hard work and high standards of everyone at the Club, from our manager Luis Enrique and his coaching staff to our sporting director Luis Campos, as well as our players and all those who work tirelessly every day to ensure that Paris Saint-Germain continues to grow and thrive.
Seeing so many of our outstanding players rewarded here tonight is an honour, but it also reflects what makes us strong: a united team driven by a shared goal.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our supporters, whose backing and passion accompany us every step of the way. We are continuing to build this long-term project with patience and determination, and we will move forward with the same passion to showcase the Club, Paris and France to the whole world.”
