Parisians Mamadou Sakho and Guillaume Hoarau joined up with the France squad on Monday and PSG.FR went to catch up with them at Clairefontaine.
On Monday, Mamadou Sakho and Guillaume Hoarau arrived at Clairefontaine to prepare for France’s first two qualifying matches for Euro 2012, against Belarus on Friday at the Stade de France and the following Tuesday against Bosnia-Herzegovina in Sarajevo.

Mamadou Sakho was enjoying the moment: ‘I’ve been lucky enough to represent my country from the Under-16s right through, so now, to be with the senior squad, it’s magnificent. I’m only 20 years of age and this is a dream come true. I really want to make the most of it. I’m here to learn from the best and improve.’

Les Rouge et Bleu players then posed for the official photo on Tuesday before meeting Zinedine Zidane on Wednesday. « Pour moi le football ‘Football started for me in 1998 when I was 14 and living on Reunion Island,’ said Guillaume Hoarau. ‘Obviously meeting Zizou is an incredible moment but I wasn’t alone so I had to try and hide my excitement. It was a big boost and very motivating to meet him.’
