Guillaume Hoarau (PSG striker)
“It’s great because everything’s riding on the Cup. It’s not over yet – there’s still 90 minutes before the final. We did it really tough, but we never gave up. Today we took a huge step forward. It’s a great relief. Auxerre didn’t give us much space. We played our own game. Tonight, it worked and that’s great.”

Stéphane Sessegnon (PSG midfielder)
“It wasn’t easy to play in the empty stadium. We did it against Nice and I think that experience was a big help to us tonight. Now, we need to go all the way. We having a tough old season and this is our chance to save it. We’re going to give the Cup everything. Claude (Makelele) has a lot of experience. We had every confidence in him because he often takes penalties successfully in training. It’s great that our captain got the winning goal, but we mustn’t forget the heroics of Edel.”

“It was a tough game on a very heavy pitch. After extra-time, both sides were exhausted. It was 50-50. Edel pulled off the miracle and we’re qualified. Now we have to stay focused and pick up the points in the league, starting with Boulogne this Sunday.”
