The day after the win over Sochaux, Jérémy Clément looks back at the comfortable victory and ahead to next weekend’s trip to Nice...
Jérémy, what’s the atmosphere like at the Camp des Loges this Sunday morning?“Obviously it’s good. It’s true that we haven’t enjoyed a good win like that for a while. We’re happy with the three points after the draw against Lens last weekend. It’s a win that does us good from every point of view.”
Was scoring so early on the key?
“We made a great start and we made the game easier for ourselves with that first goal after Dalmat’s mistake. We created a lot of dangerous situations and managed to score three times in the first half. Three-nil up at half-time it was already match over. We made life easy for ourselves and were able to control the game in the second half.”

The coach wanted to rediscover a defensive solidity. Apart from the penalty for Sochaux, you PSG was very solid...
“We didn’t give away too many chances in the first half. A little more in the second because Sochaux fought back. We conceded a goal without ever really being caught out. It was a good match.”
How are you approaching this weekend’s trip to Nice?
“Nice won at Le Mans and are fighting back a little. For our part, we’re heading there looking for points and will try and be as good in front of goal and as solid at the back as we were against Sochaux. We need to play well and enjoy ourselves. We’re not out of the woods yet, but it was a pleasure to play the way we played on a freshly laid Parc des Princes pitch. We need to stick to the same principles against Nice.”
